exercise
It has been proven that exercise has the ability to enhance blood pressure and mood while reducing depression, anxiety, and weight among other things. It has been shown that whenever people exercise, neurotransmitters release endorphins that help individuals reduce negative feelings such as stress, anxiety, and depression. People who suffer from anxiety, depression, and mood swings tend to exercise less than the people who exercise on a regular basis. When someone begins to work out, the body starts to make changes. There is an increase in endorphin levels, improvements in cardiovascular fitness, and a reduction in weight (De Vries, Van Hooff, Geurts, Kompier, 2016). When someone experiences many negative emotions, their body's autoimmune system quits working as well which makes it easier to become sick. We do not need to exercise all of the time to improve our state of mind. However, if we can exercise a minimum of three times a week for thirty minutes each, we can start seeing more positive results. Exercise improves your quality of sleep, cognitive functions, and reduces levels of anxiety (Mikkelsen, Stojanovska, Polenakovic, Bosevski, Apostolopoulos, 2017). As we can see, exercise has many benefits; if you don't currently exercise, today is the perfect day to start.
